Cinefin was founded by Nancy Schoesetters and Tom Criel, two film professionals with a background in production, production finance and financial management.
We have both spent many years working on film and television productions, in Belgium and internationally. We have seen projects from the inside, from the first budget through production and post-production, and we understand the practical and financial challenges that come with getting a project made.
Nancy combines her experience in production and financial management with a strong focus on film financing and international co-productions. She has worked on projects including The Riders, Heysel 85, Wil, Safe Harbor and The Kollective. Over the years, she has developed particular expertise in Belgian financing, including Tax Shelter, VAF and Screen Flanders, as well as international financing and co-production structures.

Tom has a background in production accounting and financial management. He has worked on a wide range of film and television productions, including Toos, The Assignment, High Tides, Elixer and 2m². His experience gives him a detailed understanding of production budgets, cost control and the financial administration of a production.
